Thank You, Bray Wyatt

So sad to be writing about a deceased wrestler for the second time in two days, and this one is far more shocking.

Bray Wyatt (Windham Rotunda) was an incredibly creative person who gave WWE fans some of the most memorable moments in recent history. His mind for the business, ingenuity and dark sense of humor made both his Bray Wyatt character and Fiend persona incredibly effective for years -- and should have been for years to come.

Where many wrestlers are elite performers, he was a true artist, coming up with some of the most mind-blowing material we as fans have ever seen. He didn't compromise when he presented his vision. And the fact that he had memorable encounters with everyone from John Cena to The Undertaker to all three members of The Shield shows just how much everyone respected his body of work.

While his return last year was arguably one of the most inventive campaigns WWE ever participated in, it was really never paid off beyond a few moments here and there. We were all hoping he'd back soon to complete what he started.

Such an incredibly sad story in an already sad week. Rest in peace, Bray.
