Thank You, Afa

This has been a very sad period of time for the Anoa'i family, with Sika passing away just a short time ago. And now we've lost the other half of The Wild Samoans in Afa.

Because Sika was more active during the mid-to-late 1980's, I didn't really see much of Afa's work, only on older VHS tapes and the like. Plus, they looked so similar in their heyday, it was tough to tell the two apart. But I did notice Afa when he (along with Captain Lou Albano) managed The Headshrinkers in the early-to-mid 1990s.

But beyond that... what a fantastic talent and trainer to so many wrestlers. People as diverse as Rikishi, Batista and Billy Kidman went through the Wild Samoans Training Center, a credit to their eye for cultivating talent.

Thank you for the memories, Afa.
